Hornsea Commemorative items.

This category was set up primarily to hold the Royalty commemorative items but may be expanded to include several of the other commemorative items and commissioned pieces. Hornsea was in active production during 1953, the year of the Queen's coronation, and rightly took full advantage to produce a range of items for the event. Later there was the Silver Jubilee and the Royal engagement and subsequent wedding. These all had a series of mugs, dishes and plates to celebrate the occasions, none of which seem to be in much demand at the moment. The situation is likely to change once a few more items have been consigned to the bin and possibly a new dynasty takes root. Meanwhile, if they are not to your taste, they remain cheap enough to put the toast on.
